UPDATE: Police investigating unnatural death Barbados has recorded another unnatural death. The body of a man was discovered in the area of the car park of the Usain Bolt Sports Complex today, Sunday, January 25, 2026. Personnel from the Barbados Police Service and the Barbados Defence Force are on the scene. A shocking development today in the political landscape of Barbados, as an MP has resigned. Dwight Sutherland, Member of Parliament for St George South, has resigned as Minister of Housing, Lands and Maintenance. When asked to provide further commentary, he refused.
