The buzz ahead of this week’s Oracle Cloud World grows louder as Oracle and longtime, and at times bitter, rival Microsoft jointly announce that Oracle's Exadata platform is coming to Azure cloud.

The hyperscalers are joining forces to help customers fully migrate to the cloud — and place their data closer to Microsoft services to facilitate cloud-native development and AI experimentation.
